Environmental Broker
Now in his fourth year at Nextgen, Marco is an integral part of Nextgen's Green team. His role includes the everyday broking of environmental commodities for a broad range of market participants as well as the principal role in Nextgen's consulting and analysis arm.
For the last twenty four months Marco has written and edited Nextgen's weekly, subscription based environmental markets synopsis The Green Room as well as producing market commentary for a range of other fora including publications for the Energy Supply Association of Australia and Ecogeneration Magazine.
Marco is also responsible at Nextgen for the assessment and response to the ever changing policy and legislative landscape which governs Australia's environmental markets.
Marco's academic background is in environmental economics and politics, having completed a Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Arts (politics) double at La Trobe University. Marco was awarded the La Trobe University's Faculty of Law and Management Economics award in 2006 and has thrice been on the University's Dean's List for achieving an A grade average across all subjects.
Marco is fluent in 3 languages: Italian, Spanish and English.
